In our last blog, we looked at the
Subscribe360 Events app and how it can help you organise and run events for both members and non-members. This week, we’ll be looking at Subscribe360’s membership and subscription management functionality, and the online member portal.
Subscription Management
Subscribe360 provides flexible subscription management facilities for your members, with product catalogues, joining fees, pro-rata pricing, automatic renewals and corporate, individual or group invoicing. The renewal process is done in just a couple of mouse clicks, with annual or rolling renewals executed as a completely automated process.
Dashboards and reports are included as standard with Subscribe360 to give you a complete view of your subscriptions and members. Staff can use dashboards to break down and filter member and membership data into different views – i.e. membership type, payment method, lapsed in the last 12 months, application type, etc. – or show a list of current tasks that have been generated and need to be completed, such as unfinished applications or unsent invoices. Subscribe360’s dashboards allow organisations to analyse membership trends, easily manage renewals and gain insight into their member base.
Renewing memberships can be a time-intensive and costly task, but Subscribe360’s Membership Renewal Process dashboard simplifies the process. The dashboard gives you an overview of all memberships due for renewal in the next month, if there are overdue renewals, and what renewal batches are active. Renewal batches are entities in S360 that automate a vast portion of the renewal process and provide a full audit trail for all membership subscriptions. Users simply set a timeframe for what they want to renew – i.e. all memberships in the next month – and the renewal batch will gather up all the relevant memberships and automate the renewal. Automated subscription reminders, lapsed warnings and renewal confirmations all make the renewal process easy for staff and members alike.
As well as helping with renewals, Subscribe360 also automates parts of the application process to make it straightforward for all involved. When a new membership application is started, an Opportunity is automatically created in Dynamics, allowing staff to see the progress of the application and review submitted ones. They can add comments, ask the applicant for additional information and approve memberships, if required, easily in one place. Once an application has been approved, the system automatically creates a membership for the application, the member portal updates to reflect this, and the user is granted access to the members-only part of the portal (more on this later). In Dynamics, the Member tab shows a user’s active memberships, allowing organisations to offer multiple types of memberships and track individuals’ membership history.
Subscribe360 makes it easy to manage your memberships and subscriptions, with options to suit every organisation and member. Manage and maintain subscription options, or define and control the subscription units available, e.g. weeks, months, year(s) etc. to suit your company. You can also vary subscription pricing by currency, market, payment method or membership type, as well as charge application and exit fees for specific subscriptions. Subscribe360 also lets you offer organisation or individual-based subscriptions and supports group invoicing for Organisations, as well as pro-rata invoicing and manual subscription fees.
Member Portal
The Subscribe360 member portal provides members with a secure online self-service facility to manage all aspects of their membership. Built using Microsoft PowerApps Portals, the portal includes the ability to book events, update personal details, view invoices, make payments, renew subscriptions, raise queries and more.
Non-members can access certain areas, such as public events, and apply for membership in the portal. Using AzureAD-B2C to identify logged-in members and non-members, the portal shows only the appropriate areas for a user. Once a user is a member, they can access features such as member-only events, exclusive shop and a member directory. Members can also keep their data up to date, manage their subscriptions and make secure online payments leading payment gateways, including Stripe and Opayo (previously SagePay). Features such as updating CPD, control over communication preferences, and secure content for groups/committees are all also available to members.
