IRPM with Subscribe360

Introduction 


The Institute of Residential Property Management (IRPM), part of The Property Institute, is the professional body for residential property management specialists and provides nationally accredited qualifications, guidance on career pathways and resources, to assist property managers within their roles. IRPM is dedicated to supporting, building, and setting the standards of the profession.

Subscribe360 replaced their previous Member Relationship Management (MRM) software, which was also based on Dynamics 365, but had not provided the expected transformational benefits. 

Solution


C2 worked with IRPM to fully document the requirements and the desired outcomes of the project, prior to undertaking the build and migration to the new Subscribe360 based solution.   The developed solution covered all aspects of the day-to-day management requirements for IRPM, including:
 
  • Series of exploration workshops to fully understand the requirements and outcomes
  • Production of a detailed requirements specification
  • Automation of all membership onboarding and renewal processes, including the automated production of all documentation
  • Finance management solution, including reminders, credit control and a charge to account approval system
  • Design and implementation of Continuing Development Programme (CPD) that automates awards of CPD credits based on key triggers e.g. attending an events, accessing online learning, watching videos
  • Events & Conference management system, including an online booking portal, with member and non-member pricing
  • Course and exam booking engine, including full ecommerce support
  • Integration with Stripe for simple online payment of invoices
  • Integration with the Moodle based learning management system
  • Implementation of a Single Sign On solution based on Azure B2C to provide a convenient sign on experience that is used by the Subscribe360 portal, the Umbraco website and Moodle.  Members can now move easily between these different platforms, logging in only once.
  • A fully automated data migration was executed based on a series of scripts. This approach ensured that the data migration could be developed over time in liaison with IPRM and downtime for go live was minimised
  • Integration with QuickBooks accounts to improve staff efficiency and accuracy of data recording
  • Transition of the existing Dot Digital solution to the new Dynamics 365 environment
  • A comprehensive staff training programme to ensure the successful adoption of all aspects of the solution
  • Fully cloud based on the Microsoft Azure platform

Impact


IRPM now have a reliable, fully integrated membership solution which delivers on the original business transformation aims of IRPM. These included:
  • Improved client communications
  • Simplified member onboarding
  • Simplified membership renewals
  • Improved financial management
  • Full integration with supporting systems, ensuring up-to-date and accurate information across all platforms
  • Easily maintainable and upgradeable, ensuring that the system will evolve with IRPM and ARMA as they evolve to the newly formed The Property Institute
As a result of the success of the initial project C2 and TPI are now looking at how ARMA can also be transitioned to the new MRM solution.
